A learn-to-code group for high school age girls (and a little older!). Each meeting typically has time for networking, a guest speaker, and time to code. Meetings are on the second Tuesday of each month.

A series of iSTEM immersion experiences for 8th and 9th grade girls and their teachers, designed to show them the innovative world of IT. The University of Nebraska College of Information Science and Technology will inspire girls and their teachers to take a deeper look at IT through hands-on experiences with emerging IT fields such as bioinformatics, IT innovation, music technology and cybersecurity.

The AIM Institute, in collaboration with Bellevue University and University of Nebraska at Omaha, is offering The Silicon Prairie GenCyber Camp for youth and educators. The camp promotes hands-on and investigative activities to educate camp participants about the principles, risks, and applications of cybersecurity.

This unique program was established as an initiative to actively engage high school students who excel in math and science, and who have an interest in engineering and technology. This three-day developmental experience allows students to apply engineering & technology concepts by attending faculty lead workshops in our state-of-the-art labs.
